Andreas and Alexandra-Isabell Diehl, real Palatine Vesels, tend their vineyards in Edesheim on the southern wine route in one of the warmest regions in Germany. Here, where Mediterranean temperatures prevail for most of the year, they even grow figs, kiwi, lemons and, finally, wine that describes this climate. Here, the Diehl family takes selfless care to ensure that the wonderful temperament of the grapes can be gently developed in the wine.

In the wines of A. Diehl Eins zu Eins, attention is paid to varietal purity, which was also reflected in the categorization of the wines. „One to one“ means a balanced relationship between the variety and maturation.“With these wines, it is essential to acquire your own individual wine style and constantly improve it. Because only then will your own creation be unmistakably manifested. Each wine contains the full flavor of the indicated variety. From the vineyard to the bottle are natural and authentic,“ says Andreas Diehl.

 As is customary in the Pfalz, the Diehls can use a considerable portfolio of grape varieties for their wines. Emphasis is placed on white and gray Burgundies, Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc, while Merlot, Dornfelder, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon lead among the red varieties.
